Terms for Using This Site

These terms govern access to Hardin County Released Inmates. By using the site, you agree to follow them. If you do not accept these conditions, stop using the site.

This is a private site with no affiliation to Hardin County, a sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, or other government agency.

Nature of the Service

The site organizes reference material and links concerning custody changes, release records, offender locators, and public agencies. It does not operate those sources, host government records, or exercise authority over a person in custody.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the material only for lawful purposes. You may not disrupt the site, bypass access controls, scrape or overload its systems, misrepresent your identity, violate another person's rights, or use information to harass, threaten, stalk, or facilitate unlawful conduct. Automated extraction requires prior written permission.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

Hardin County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Neither this site nor information reached through it may be used for credit, employment, hiring, insurance, housing, tenant screening, or any other purpose governed by the FCRA. Users are solely responsible for following all applicable consumer-reporting laws.

Outside Links and Services

Links lead to government sources and third-party tools that control their own content, availability, prices, and rules. A link does not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for an outside service's results, security, or conduct.

No Warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and noninfringement. Government records can change after publication.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this site or an external service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site's owners and operators from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Ownership of Site Material

Original site text, organization, branding, and design are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government records and agency marks remain subject to their own ownership and public-use rules. These terms grant no transfer of our rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions. The current version will be posted on this page, and continued use after publication means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Ended

We may suspend or revoke access, without prior notice, when a user violates these terms, threatens the site or others, or when service changes make restriction necessary.

Tennessee Law Applies

These terms are governed by Tennessee law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must proceed in a court with lawful jurisdiction.

Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The invalid part will be limited only as much as needed to make the agreement enforceable.
